Global developments in recent years have brought into focus the importance of national resilience. From energy, to semi-conductors, to basic materials, the convulsions of the global economy is undergoing, bring into sharp focus the importance of strengthening local supply chains and the dangers of an over-reliance on an increasingly concentrated number of global suppliers.

Against this backdrop, Gareth Stace will speak on the importance of a resilient domestic steel industry in the UK, and the policies we need from the government to secure it.
